BSE Sensex rose 352.31 points, or 0.47%, to 74,667.92 on Friday, with IT stocks leading the gains.

Tech Mahindra topped Sensex gainers, climbing 7.44% to Rs 1,771.40, followed by Infosys, which advanced 4.36% to Rs 1,159.40. TCS gained 3.51% to Rs 2,437.05, while Bharti Airtel rose 2.22% to Rs 1,893.10.

Mahindra & Mahindra advanced 2.09% to Rs 2,911.55, while HCL Technologies gained 1.45% to Rs 1,383. Kotak Mahindra Bank rose 0.77% to Rs 452.30, Tata Steel added 0.62% to Rs 177.55 and Eternal gained 0.60% to Rs 326.30.

HDFC Bank was up 0.45% at Rs 731.85, Titan gained 0.40% to Rs 4,467.90 and Bajaj Finance rose 0.14% to Rs 969.85. Maruti Suzuki advanced 0.13% to Rs 11,440.05, NTPC gained 0.11% to Rs 314.45, UltraTech Cement rose 0.06% to Rs 10,872 and Adani Ports edged up 0.04% to Rs 1,748.55.
